Dr. Mukta Sharma – an academician and a scientist, has more than 15 years of experience in the field of teaching, research and administration. After completing her graduation and post-graduation degrees in Science from BHU, Varanasi, she received her PhD degree in 1997 in Medicinal Chemistry from Institute of Medical sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. Apart from the host of degrees, she has also completed various professional degrees and certifications in the field of education and health.

She has worked at various institutes, which includes. AIIMS, Delhi, IPEC Ghaziabad, RDEC Ghaziabad, RIET Faridabad. In addition to her assignment in teaching and research, she has shouldered many administrative responsibilities. She has also served as Deputy Director, Dean of Academic Affairs and Head in various departments like Chemistry, Bio Technology, examination, admission and counseling committee etc.

Dr. Mukta is also a recipient of fellowship awards from CSIR,(1995) and ICMR, (2002). As an academician, she has supervised PhD. and MPhil students and has more than 25 publications in various national and international journals. She has also been a member of several scientific bodies like Indian science congress, Indian chemical society, Young scientist association and Biological Chemist of India and member in editorial board of journals.
